We all have had people whom we have held near and dear to us. Who, we thought we can never live without and who wouldn't ever abandon us. We trusted them and did anything and everything we could for them. At this point you must be wondering why i am using word like 'had' for the people who, as I said, are near and dear to us. Well. The reason for using past tense is that we don't have them in our lives anymore. The people who we once considered a vital part of our existence, they have abandoned us. They have left us. They DO NOT FREAKING CARE! Every once in a while we come across people we genuinely like. We start to get close to them. We make time for them(even if they don't give us deserved attention), we talk to them, we do everything we can to make them happy and comfortable. In doing so we go to such extents that we lose our-self. Our dignity. Our Respect. We lose our own self. We no longer care for ourselves. We do not give us the attention we need. The love we owe to ourselves. But that's enough! We need to care for ourselves. We need to push the people out who don't treat us the way we deserve to be treated. Enough for being used by people. Enough for caring a little to much. Enough for losing our respect. Enough for not getting treated well enough. Enough is enough. Enough for living for others. Yeah we are told to help others. To care for them. And that is a good thing. Man being a social animal. We need people and company. But we need to understand this that we can not let people take over of ourselves. Once in a while, we need to stand up for ourselves. We need to care for us. We need to love ourselves. And build some self respect. And never lose it for anyone, no matter how special they are to us. I am not saying that do not love them or that do not make them feel special. Please do. They deserve it and it's essential for any healthy relationship, with friends, with your partner, with anyone. But for the love of God! It is important that you love and respect yourself the most. No one is ever gonna do that. And no one can love you like you can love yourself. And it's okay to be selfish for yourself. It's okay to prioritize yourself. To not give a F*@# about others. To live for yourself. To love yourself the most. To be your own best friend. Cause no matter how much they say they are gonna be there for you and they love you and they care for you, in the end it's gonna be you with yourself only when you need them the most. So. Be a little selfish and Be a little Heartless. and above all BE YOU.

Live for Your Own Self

About me, About you, About all of us.

This one is for you and for me. I don't know who you are and you don't know who i am. We meet through this virtual world. But to be very honest, we exist here more than we exist in the real world. We find ourselves more open and close to the people we meet online, even though we are told again and again to not trust strangers, especially the ones we meet here. Since here, anyone can be anyone. I can be a 67 years old man with bald head and perverted mind, or i can be a a sweet girl of 21 years or i can be a man in my mid 30s, cheating on my wife with 4 different women. The point i am trying to make is that, you have no way of telling what is truth and what is a lie. You only know what i tell you and you have no choice but to believe it. If you are smart enough, you'll try to find me on other places on the internet but if i am smarter than you, I'd probably have different identities everywhere. The thing is, we never should trust anyone we meet on the internet. Even though we more open to them, since they don't know us and would probably listen to whatever we tell them. We share our secrets with them, we tell them every little details, since it's easier to talk to someone by writing- via email, instant messaging, texting- instead of talking face to face. But we never think of risks we are taking while we do this- trusting a stranger.
On that note I'll leave you to think about it next time you meet someone online and are about to pour your heart out to them.
